Ron Burton training village 2019 stem journey

The journey is a hands-on project based learning experience for 5-7th grade girls designed to increase their exposure and access to STEM. Participants will complete three uniquely designed experiences throughout the Boston area that focus on Science, Technology, Engineering or Math. In addition to the academic component, the journey will expose participants to financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and spiritual growth while improving their leadership and communication skills.

Program Highlights:

  • Three STEM experiences on Saturdays in the Boston area between June - Aug 2019

  • An overnight weekend experience at the Ron Burton Training Village

  • Emphasis on leadership, financial literacy, communication and entrepreneurship skills

  • Mentorship from STEM Professionals

  • Guest Speakers

  • Field Trips

A free 5-week program for current 4th grade (rising 5th grade) youth throughout the city of Boston. Students will learn how to code, work on engineering projects, play sports, go on field trips and more.
