2019 Read Your Way To Fenway

S.T.E.A.M Ahead is partnering with Boston’s Public Libraries to promote the Read Your Way To Fenway Initiative. All children and teens between the ages of 5 to 17 are eligable to enter this contest for a chance to free win a tickets to a Red Sox game in August. All participants must read at least three books this summer and write a brief essay about their favorite one for an entry into the contest.

Essays Are Due - July 30th

Winners Are Notified - Tuesday, August 13th

Tickets Are Available For Pickup - Aug 13th - Aug 16th (no later than 5pm)

Gameday - Sunday, August 18, at 1:05 p.m., Red Sox vs. Baltimore Orioles at Fenway Park

*Essay will not be available until June 22nd

2019 Read Your Way To Fenway Contest Rules

  • Contest for children and teens ages 5 to 17

  • Contestants must read at least three books and write a brief essay about your favorite one

  • Only one entry allowed per person

  • Multiple entries will disqualify the entrant

  • The essay must be original work, not plagiarized or recycled from a prior year

  • Winner receives three tickets to the game in August; Game day is August 18th at 1:05 p.m.

  • Each winner must be accompanied to the game by one parent or guardian
