“Where Science Meets the Future”
July 13th - July 24th (2-Weeks)
The Science & Innovation cohort introduces students to the foundational processes that drive scientific discovery and early-stage innovation. Participants will explore how questions become hypotheses, how experiments are designed and conducted, and how data is analyzed to generate meaningful insights. Through hands-on laboratory activities and guided inquiry, students will develop core skills in scientific reasoning, experimentation, and problem-solving.
Throughout the internship, students will engage with Waters scientists and engineers to better understand real-world research environments, emerging technologies, and the role of innovation in addressing complex global challenges. This internship cohort is ideal for students who are curious, analytical, and interested in careers in science, research, engineering, or related STEM fields. By the end of the internship, participants will gain a deeper appreciation for the scientific process and how laboratory-based research fuels innovation across industries.
