Our Summer Learning Academies are free, 5-week, in-person summer enrichment programs for elementary schools students within Boston Public Schools.

In this 1-week workshop hosted at the MIT Media Lab, students will explore art creation and the ethical implications around creating art with AI.

STEAM Academy: 2024 Summer Session
Designed for Middle & High School Students, virtual courses give students the space to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) through guided study and hands-on work with technologies and solutions of today and tomorrow!

MASS. CLEAN ENERGY CENTER - CLEAN ENERGY INITIATIVES
STEAM Ahead is partnering with the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) to implement an education and outreach initiative for middle and high school students to build awareness of clean energy solutions, S.T.E.A.M. vocational and career pathways, and state and local based clean energy resources.

Waters student academy
This is a 5-week rotational internship program for High School Students. Waters is providing underrepresented students with STEM education, exposure, and experience to ensure our industry is more representative of the society we live in.

Data Activism (MIT Media Lab)
This is a 6-week, in person program where students learn how data science can be used to address social issues such as food insecurity, gun safety, and climate injustice. Students also learn "power skills" like communication, remote collaboration, and leadership skills.

Red Sox STEM Education Day
STEAM Ahead is a proud partner of Fenway Parks and the Boston Red Sox for their STEM Education Day.

STEAM Ahead: Leadership Symposium
This is a free, 1-day event designed to provide a space for the exploration of leadership. Various Leaders from High School, Collegiate and Professional fields will network and define what leadership is in this ever-changing world.
